About the Role

As an Enterprise Sales Representative at Pinecone, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new enterprise-level clients. You will leverage your strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to articulate the value proposition of Pinecone's solutions to potential customers. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment..    

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, target, and penetrate enterprise accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, data scientists, and IT professionals.

  • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and pain points to effectively position Pinecone's solutions as a valuable asset.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase Pinecone's capabilities and benefits.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close deals in alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively differentiate Pinecone in the market.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets, consistently driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the organization.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of 5+ years in enterprise sales in the technology/software industry

  • History of selling usage / consumption based products that require ongoing customer attention

  • Deep understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
